What started as my pandemic hobby in the summer of 2020 with my first beehive has turned into one of my primary hobbies and interests. As of September 2023, I am currently managing 11 hives and extracting honey at least once a year. I am also a member of the Gasconade County Regional Beekeepers club where I regularly lead group discussions and teach others on how to be a beekeeper.
